I am sure many of you must be having some old clothes that you regret buying, don't fit your size, look lame, or maybe just out of fashion. So if you are thinking to throw them away and buy some new ones, then WAIT! You can reuse or recycle so many old clothes in your house and they might turn into your favorite outfits, you never know. But how to recycle old clothes at home? Now let me tell you for some old clothes reuse ideas or let's say recycled outfit ideas you might need to visit your tailor but trust me it will worth it. Here I am sharing my top 5 ideas of how to use old clothes to make new outfits for all fashionistas that might help you to re-think about your old clothes.

1. Old Saree Jumpsuit

I know many of you will find this weird but trust me you can make the best jumpsuit for yourself by using an old saree. If you don't have any, at least your mom must be having plenty of it. So what to do with old clothes, diy? Absolutely!

Make sure that you use chiffon, cotton, or Georgette material saree for making the jumpsuit. All you need to do is to take your old jumpsuit and measure your size accurately. Browse some of the options online such as patterns, designs, and try to implement that. The best part is you can make your jumpsuit exactly the way you want.

2. Crop Top From Shirt Piece

I tried this last month and the results were unbelievable. You can reuse old clothes like a shirt or shirt piece for yourself. I created Two outfits from my brother's old shirt piece. One was a crop top while the other was a Capri. Both of them looked perfectly stylish. You just need to get one of the old shirt pieces and you can make a crop top at home. But for the Capri or let us say any bottom wear you need to go to your tailor.

3. Denim Skirt or Denim Jeans?

This is probably the best example of how to reuse old clothes at home because it is simple and anybody can do it. Do you know that you can actually make a denim skirt from your old denim jeans? All you need to do is cut down the jeans from its sides, take your hips and thighs measurements and just sew it in whichever pattern you want. If you do not have a sewing machine then you can also use simple hand stitching. That would work like wonder!

4. Sleeves For Goggles?

This might not be the perfect example of how to recycle old clothes into new clothes but let me tell you it is worth trying. Let us start then.

Do you have any full sleeves old shirt? If you have then trust me its literally a 10 mins task to make a case for your goggles. The best part is it looks classy as hell and nobody can actually guess that it is the product of recycling.

5. Dupatta Jacket, Why Not?

Here is what you can do with your old clothes with cutting, stitching or doing anything. You can repurpose old clothes (scarf/dupatta). You can simply use dupatta as jacket without even stitching it. You just need to fold it in a certain way in this manner. First, fold it in half, then fold from between. Pin at the back of Kurta and secure safety pin around arms.
